Move Better. Feel Better. Recover Faster.
Improve your flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and restore mobility with personalized assisted stretching at Perform Wellness & Recovery.
Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve performance, someone experiencing everyday stiffness, or simply wanting to move more comfortably, assisted stretching can help you feel your best.
Unlike stretching on your own, assisted stretching involves a trained professional gently guiding your body through targeted stretches designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and overall comfort.
Benefits of Assisted Stretching
Assisted stretching offers a variety of benefits for people of all ages and activity levels.
- Improved Flexibility: Helps increase muscle flexibility and improve your range of motion.
- Reduced Muscle Tension: Relieves tightness and stiffness caused by exercise, prolonged sitting, or everyday activities.
- Enhanced Athletic Performance: Supports better mobility and movement mechanics during physical activity.
- Faster Recovery: May help reduce feelings of muscle tightness after workouts and strenuous activity.
- Improved Posture: Addresses muscle tightness that can contribute to postural imbalances.
- Greater Joint Mobility: Helps maintain comfortable movement through your joints.
- Relaxation and Stress Relief: Promotes relaxation while easing everyday muscular tension.
What to Expect During Your Session
Your assisted stretching session begins with a brief discussion of your mobility, areas of tightness, activity level, and personal goals.
A trained team member will guide you through a series of controlled stretches targeting specific muscle groups, including your back, shoulders, hips, hamstrings, and legs.
You will remain relaxed while your stretching professional assists with movements that may be difficult to perform effectively on your own.
Each stretch is tailored to your comfort and flexibility level. You may feel gentle tension, but stretching should never be painful.
Wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows you to move freely.

How Long Does It Take?
20 minutes per session
Our 20-minute assisted stretching sessions provide focused attention to the muscle groups that need it most.
Whether you’re addressing tight hips, stiff shoulders, or overall flexibility, each session is designed to make the most of your time.
How Often Should I Do It?
The ideal frequency depends on your activity level, flexibility, and personal wellness goals.
General Wellness: 1–2 sessions per week to help maintain flexibility and mobility.
Athletes and Active Individuals: 2–3 sessions per week may help support mobility and complement training.
Individuals Experiencing Stiffness: 2–3 sessions per week initially, depending on comfort and tolerance.
Maintenance: Once per week or as needed to complement your regular stretching routine.
Consistency is important. Regular assisted stretching, combined with movement and stretching at home, may help you maintain improvements over time.
Who Should Avoid Assisted Stretching?
Although assisted stretching is generally well tolerated, certain individuals should avoid it or seek medical clearance before participating.
Consult your healthcare provider if you have:
- Recent fractures, sprains, muscle tears, or other acute injuries
- Recent surgery or restrictions on movement
- Severe osteoporosis or fragile bones
- Significant joint instability or a history of frequent dislocations
- Acute inflammation, swelling, or severe unexplained pain
- Certain spinal conditions or nerve-related symptoms
- Known or suspected blood clots
If you experience sharp pain, numbness, dizziness, or unusual discomfort during a session, stretching should be stopped immediately.
Our team will discuss your health history and comfort level before beginning.
